One duty. One comparable LSV brief.
lsv manufacturers sourcing
LowSpeed Fleet Desk is an independent sourcing partner for US business buyers. We translate passenger or utility duty, exact vehicle configuration, quantity and destination into a common brief for candidate original manufacturers. We do not manufacture vehicles, hold stock or claim dealer authorization. Price, availability, documents and delivery remain subject to a current exact-configuration quotation.

Why LSV quotations stop being comparable
Family maximum versus quoted vehicle
Ask which chassis, body, seating layout and installed accessories support the stated payload capacity and gross vehicle weight rating. A family headline cannot establish the capacity of the offered unit after an enclosure, cargo box, rear seat or other option changes curb weight and load distribution.
Nominal versus usable battery energy
Record nominal and usable battery capacity separately in kWh, with chemistry, charging connector, charger input and AC charging power. Compare range only when load, speed, route, temperature, stops and auxiliary use are stated; a larger pack label alone does not prove shift coverage.
Vehicle price versus total procurement scope
Align quantity, currency, payment basis, destination and Incoterm. Keep the configured vehicle, charger, customization, sample, inspection, packing, inland transport, freight, duty boundary, unloading and destination services visible so a lower equipment line is not mistaken for a lower total cost.
Series literature versus exact-model evidence
Match the vehicle category, configuration and model year to every requested specification or compliance document. FMVSS, EPA, import, registration and operating acceptance remain destination-specific review matters; LowSpeed Fleet Desk can coordinate evidence requests but cannot grant approval.
Evidence questions before factory outreach
Separate confirmed facts, supplier proposals and unresolved choices before comparing a price.
Which ratings belong to the offered vehicle?
Request an exact seating or utility-body drawing, overall dimensions, wheelbase, curb weight, payload capacity and GVWR. If towing is required, state the trailer, hitch and loading assumptions rather than relying on a series maximum.
How can the route and battery claim be checked?
Define representative occupants or cargo, grade, surface, speed, stops, temperature and charging window. A sample check can repeat that route while recording starting and ending state of charge, but one sample result does not establish production consistency without an agreed inspection plan.
What belongs in the first purchasing brief?
Provide duty, configuration, quantity, destination, delivery window and requested evidence. An optional budget must name currency and per-unit or total-order scope. High-end, mid-range, budget and undecided are buyer preferences, not verified supplier rankings, and existing quotations are not required.
